The Bendigo Braves have revealed the re-signing of 2023 NBL1 South Grand Final MVP Amy Atwell
Atwell played a pivotal role in the Braves' flawless 28-0 season, securing victories in both the 2023 NBL1 South Grand Final and the 2023 NBL1 National Final.
Throughout the 2023 season, Atwell demonstrated her scoring prowess, averaging 25.8 points and 7.4 assists per game.
Her outstanding performance also earned her a place on the NBL1 National Finals All-Star 5.
Recognizing her excellence, Atwell secured a position on the Australian Opals team for the FIBA Asia Cup.
Braves' head coach Mark Alabakov praised Atwell's contrubtions on court and the appriecation she receives from Bendigo fans.
"Amy’s known for her world class shooting that she evolved to become world class scoring and playmaking by the mountains of extra work we did last season."
