But, this weekend was more than about the outcomes on the basketball court. It was about recognising the sacrifices made that give us the freedoms we have today.

This morning their Youth League Men and Women attended Frankston War Memorial (Beauty Park) for the Dawn Service run by the Frankston RSL.

And later in the morning the NBL1 playing group and coaching/support staff attended the Frankston RSL's Wreath Laying ceremony. NBL1 Men's Captain Lucas Barker and Leo Jackson represented the club in the laying of the wreath.

During the ceremony a member of their game day support staff; Alexandra Shacklock sang both the Australian and New Zealand National Anthems while representing Frankston High School. Well done Alex.
