Jade Melbourne signs with Melbourne Tigers

WNBA Draft pick Jade Melbourne will suit up for multiple games before heading to Seattle with the NBL1 South Melbourne Tigers. 

Joining NBL1 Central MVP Sam Simons, the 2022 NBL1 South Youth Player of the Year will take the court in Round 2 for the Tigers. 

Melbourne said she is excited to play in the NBL1 once again before heading to the States.

"[I'm] excited to be playing for the Melbourne Tigers for some games before heading over to Seattle," she said via the team's Instagram page.

"[I've] liked the competitiveness of the girls and it’s been a lot of fun so I’m looking forward to playing with them all.”
