Josh Sykes returns to Wildcats

The Eltham Wildcats have announced the return of high flyer Josh Sykes for the upcoming 2024 NBL1 South Season.

In the NBL1 South 2023 season Sykes averted 13.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.

Expressing his enthusiasm for rejoining the Wildcats for his fifth season, Josh Sykes remarked.

“The group of guys I play with always keep in contact, the conversations that I have with the coach staff, and the energy of being around the club you just can’t say no to this wonderful experience. So thank you Eltham for always being great to me."

Termed as "unfinished business" by the Eltham Wildcats, Sykes emphasized the team's determination for the upcoming season

"The bar last year was set for us, we lost to Knox to go for the championship game so we expect nothing lower than what we did last year. We have a job to finish and if you’re in our path expect a fight to the finish”.
