Lawton re-signs with Hawks

Ringwood Hawks have announced the re-signing of import guard Jonathan Lawton for the upcoming NBL1 South 2024 season.

Lawton excelled on both ends of the court in 2023, averaging 24.7 points per game (the 3rd highest), 4.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists (the 9th highest). The 6'3" guard backed this up with a league-leading 3 steals per game.

The Hawks' crowd favorite concluded his 2023 season with a 41-point performance in the Hawks' final game of the regular season against Nunawading. Lawton made multiple Top 10 appearances, including the game-winning basket against Dandenong Rangers.

Hawks' Head Coach Damian Smith had nothing but praise for Lawton.
