Malik Meunier joins Falcons

The NBL1 South's Waverley Falcons have announced the signing of NBL1 West 2023 Champion and All-Star Five member Malik Meunier for the upcoming NBL1 South 2024 season.

In the NBL1 West 2023 season, Meunier averaged 13.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game for the championship-winning Geraldton Buccaneers. 

In the National Finals, the 24-year-old guard was impressive against the league's best teams -- averaging 10 points, seven assists and 5.5 rebounds against the Ipswich Force and Sutherland Sharks. 

A Victorian junior, Malik returns home, having previously played for the Knox Raiders in the NBL1 South 2021 season.

Malik Meunier joins Waverley Falcons' announced signings Dexter Kernish-Drew and Michael Harper.
