NBL1 South In The Regional Community

For the second time in recent history, the Ringwood Hawks are proud to be taking NBL1 South action to Wonthaggi for a pre-season battle against the Frankston Blues.

The Hawks had a great time back in 2020 running clinics and putting on a show for the Wonthaggi basketball community, and the event looks to be bigger and better in 2023.

“We will have our NBL1 stars running clinics for boys and girls, as well as having giveaways to hand out on the day.” Hawks Men’s Head Coach Damien Smith said.

“After the clinics the court will heat up with the women and then the men battling it out for bragging rights. We are grateful to Frankston for joining us for the event."

With both teams deep into pre-season training and their rosters nearly complete, the Wonthaggi fans can expect high-quality and competitive games.
