The women's results on Sunday in Round 10 of the NBL1 South saw the Kilsyth Cobras defeat the Launceston Tornadoes 79-68, Diamond Valley Eagles beat the Casey Cavaliers 92-88, Bendigo Braves defeat the Eltham Wildcats 85-60, and the Mount Gambier Pioneers down the Ballarat Miners 107-65.
The Waverley Falcons also prevailed 67-58 against the Hobart Chargers, and the Ringwood Hawks defeated the Melbourne Tigers 88-57.
Then in the men's matches, the Cobras defeated the North West Tasmania Thunder 93-68 while the Eagles beat the Cavaliers 96-81, Braves downed the Wildcats 91-84, Pioneers prevailed 105-85 against the Miners, the Falcons beat the Chargers 95-87, and the Tigers defeated the Hawks 100-85.

Cobras score only 11 points in OT to beat Tornadoes
The Kilsyth Cobras overcame the Launceston Tornadoes in overtime on Sunday to keep their momentum going with a third straight win to stay in the NBL1 South playoff race.
Kilsyth came into the clash at home on Sunday fresh off beating the Nunawading Spectres in a low-scoring grind the previous night while Launceston started their weekend double on the road beating the Ballarat Miners.
So both teams were coming off wins the previous evening and it was Kilsyth who started the better with 16 points to nine in the opening quarter. The Cobras then led by as much as 10 in the second quarter to be leading 37-30 at the main break.
Kilsyth was again on top by as much as nine points in the third quarter but the Tornadoes worked back into the contest to open up their own eight-point advantage during the fourth term.
Kilsyth was able to fire back and an Abbey Sutherland three-pointer put the home team back in front with 2:45 to play. The lead continued to switch hands from there until ultimately a Macey Crawford jumper for Launceston tied scores up to force the game into overtime.
Then in the extra five minutes it was all the Cobras who scored the only 11 points in extra time to end up winning 79-68 to improve to a 6-10 record as a result with the three consecutive wins. The Tornadoes are 6-10 after splitting their weekend away from home.
Alisia Jenkins produced an outstanding all-round game for Kilsyth with 21 points, 16 rebounds, six steals, three assists and two blocks while shooting 9/15 from the floor.
Nikita Young added 20 points and seven rebounds, Isis Lopes 14 points, five steals, three assists and two boards, and Georgia Booth 14 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Olivia West produced another 20 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists for a Launceston team missing Keely Froling.
Riley Lupfer also had 15 points, Micah Simpson 15 points, five rebounds and four assists, and Macey Crawford 12 points, seven boards and four assists.

Eagles overrun Cavs to snap losing streak
The Diamond Valley Eagles returned to the winner's list on the back of a huge fourth quarter to overrun the Casey Cavaliers to win 92-88 on Sunday.
The Eagles fell to a third consecutive loss going down to the Hobart Chargers on Saturday night and needed a win to avoid slipping further from playoff contention, but the Cavs arrived determined to snap their own losing slide.
It was a tight opening to the contest but the Cavaliers began to pull away in the second quarter with an 8-0 run to see them on top 55-50 after an entertaining opening half.
Casey then looked on track to get a third win of the season when leading by 11 points in the third quarter, but Diamond Valley finished on fire with 28 points to 15 in the final period.
That saw the Eagles come back from trailing by nine points at three quarter-time to end up winning by four to snap the losing slide and improve to an 8-8 record. Casey remains in bottom spot at 2-14 with six straight defeats.
Jade Compton produced a standout performance for Diamond Valley with 22 points, seven rebounds and two assists on shooting 9/12 from the field and 4/7 from three-point territory.
Jennie Rintala added 15 points and three rebounds for the Eagles, Sophie Burrows 12 points, five boards, five assists and two steals, Allison Day 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals, and Monique Andriuolo 11 points and seven boards.
Taylah Simmons finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds for Casey with Steph Blicavs contributing 20 points and six boards, Rachel Bell 19 points, five boards, five assists and three steals, and Lauren Van Kleunen 12 points, four rebounds and four assists.
McKay, Wilson ensure Braves remain unbeaten
With another masterful point guard performance from Kelly Wilson and Megan McKay dominant inside, the Bendigo Braves remained unbeaten in the NBL1 South beating the Eltham Wildcats 85-60.
The Braves were making their only appearance of the weekend and put their perfect record on the line at home to the Wildcats at Red Energy Arena.
Eltham started well too to be leading by two points at quarter-time before still clinging to a 42-40 advantage at half-time.
However, Bendigo asserted its authority in emphatic fashion in the third quarter outscoring Eltham 24 points to five. The Braves went on with the job from there with another 21 points to 13 in the final term to end up winning by 25.
The victory keeps the Braves clear atop the NBL1 South standings with a 15-0 record while the Wildcats are still clinging to eighth position at 8-7.
Megan McKay was a dominant presence inside for Bendigo finishing with 25 points, 11 rebounds and two steals on 9/12 shooting from the floor and 7/7 at the foul line.
The remarkable Kelly Wilson was outstanding running the point once more too with 16 points, 12 assists, six rebounds and three steals on 6/7 shooting.
Cassidy McLean added 13 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and three steals, Caitlin Richardson 10 points, six boards and two steals, and Kasey Burton eight points and nine rebounds.
Taylah Wynne top-scored for Eltham with 17 points, three rebounds and two assists while nailing 5/11 from three-point range.
Louise Forsyth added 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals, Hailey Leidel nine points, and Bec Pizzey six points, nine rebounds, four steals, three assists and three blocked shots.
Mount Gambier dominate Ballarat to hit back
The Mount Gambier Pioneers hit back in style from a Saturday night loss to hammer the Ballarat Miners 107-65 on the road on Sunday.
Mount Gambier lost to the Ringwood Hawks by 22 points on Saturday evening to start their road double in Round 10 of the NBL1 South while the Miners played host to them at Selkirk Stadium coming off a loss themselves to the Launceston Tornadoes.
The Pioneers managed to open up a five-point lead by the end of the first quarter and they then put up another 31 points to 20 in the second term to head into the half-time break on top 52-36.
It was even more dominance from Mount Gambier with 35 points to nine in the third stanza with the lead growing to as much as 47 points before the Pioneers scored the 42-point win.
The victory for the Pioneers improved them to an 11-4 record to be in third position in the NBL1 South while the Miners are now 3-13 with the defeat.
Isabella Brancatisano produced a tremendous performance for Mount Gambier with 28 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals while knocking down 7/9 from three-point range.
Cassandra Brown added 24 points, 15 boards and three assists with Imogen Rock delivering 17 points, four rebounds and three assists, Sherrie Calleia 13 points, seven boards, seven assists and three steals, and Haliegh Reinoehl 13 points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
Abbey Wehrung once more top-scored for Ballarat with 20 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists with Jemma Amoore contributing 16 points and four boards, and Kristy Rinaldi 10 points.

Falcons hit back to stay second with win over Chargers
The Waverley Falcons dominated the second half against the Hobart Chargers on Sunday with Carley Ernst leading the way in the eventual 67-58 victory.
Waverley was making its only appearance of Round 10 in the NBL1 South looking to hit back from consecutive losses while Hobart were looking to back up Saturday night's win on the road also against the Diamond Valley Eagles.
The Chargers started well too to try and get another win to close in on a spot in the top eight. Hobart would lead by as much as five points in the first quarter and still by two at quarter-time.
The Chargers then delivered 20 points to 13 in the second term to go into the major break leading 36-27.
Waverley had to respond coming out of the break to avoid a third straight defend and to the Falcons credit, that's exactly what they did firstly with 15 points to 11 in the third period.
The Falcons then delivered a huge final quarter with 25 points to 11 to come from behind to beat the Chargers by nine points and improve to 12-3 on the season to remain in second spot.
The Chargers missed the chance to get close to a top eight spot now sitting at 6-10 after splitting their road trip this weekend.
Carley Ernst was the star of the afternoon for Waverley finishing with 25 points, five rebounds and two steals including shooting 4/8 from three-point territory.
Maddi Utti added 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Amelia Todhunter 14 points, six boards and four assists, and Renae Mokrzycki four points and 11 rebounds.
Paige Bradley put up 18 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals for Hobart with Cori Coleman contributing 14 points and six boards, Sarah O'Neill 10 points and five rebounds, and Kayla Steindl another eight points, 11 boards and two steals.

Hawks keep building with thumping of Tigers
The full strength reigning NBL1 South champion Ringwood Hawks flexed their considerable muscle once more on Sunday with the 88-57 road win against the Melbourne Tigers.
The Hawks welcomed back Marena Whittle on Saturday night for a big win against the Mount Gambier Pioneers ahead of taking on the struggling Tigers on Sunday.
Ringwood didn’t take long to put its stamp on the contest opening up a 17-point lead during the opening term and still being up 24-10 at quarter-time.
The Hawks piled on another 22 points to 11 in the second quarter to go into the main break in control leading 46-21.
There would be no fightback from the Tigers with Ringwood going on to lead by 30 points in the third quarter and 35 in the fourth before settling on the 31-point triumph.
The victory improves the Hawks to a 10-6 record with three consecutive wins while the Tigers fall further from playoff contention at 4-11 with five straight defeats.
Marta Hermida was outstanding for Ringwood with 31 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals while draining 7/11 from behind the three-point line.
Ariel Jones added 14 points and five rebounds for the Hawks, Marena Whittle 12 points, 10 boards, five assists and three steals, and Hailey Wynd 10 points and four rebounds.
Lily Carmody ended up with 15 points and seven rebounds for Melbourne with Angelique Francis putting up 10 points and five boards, Sam Simons 10 points, five rebounds and three assists, and Tylah Hooper 10 points and two assists.

Kilsyth's 22-0 run sets up win over North West Tasmania
The Kilsyth Cobras made it a double win weekend to keep their NBL1 South playoff hopes alive with Sunday's 93-68 home win against the North West Tasmania Thunder.
Kilsyth defeated the Nunawading Spectres by five points on Saturday while North West Tasmania started their double-header road trip with a 21-point loss at the hands of the Ballarat Miners.
The Cobras opened the game on fire with 28 points to nine in the first quarter on the back of scoring 22 consecutive points.
Kilsyth controlled the rest of the contest from there to end up leading by 32 points in the second quarter and 36 in the third before going on to score the 25-point victory.
The result improves the Cobras to a 7-9 record with the two wins this weekend while the Thunder slip to 6-10 having lost their past three matches.
Jamie Ahale knocked down 5/10 three-pointers for Kilsyth on his way to 23 points, seven rebounds and two assists for the afternoon.
Chris Galbreath added 17 points and eight rebounds on 8/11 shooting with Auryn MacMillan contributing 13 points and three boards, Adrian Tomada 12 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals, and Nick Feller nine points and three boards.
Sekou Sylla once again did all he could for North West Tasmania top-scoring with 21 points to go with 13 rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Tre Armstrong put up 16 points and two rebounds as well with Vionte Daniels adding 13 points, three boards, two assists and two steals.
Eagles beat Cavs for second win of Round 10
The Diamond Valley Eagles delivered their second emphatic performance of the weekend to remain in the NBL1 South's top eight after beating the Casey Cavaliers 96-81 on Sunday.
Diamond Valley opened the round on Saturday night beating the Hobart Chargers while Casey went down to the Sandringham Sabres setting up their battle on Sunday at Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre.
The Eagles went on a 10-0 scoring run in the opening quarter to lead by as much as nine points before they took control further the longer the game went on their home floor.
Diamond Valley's run would turn into 15 straight points with the lead getting out to 20 points in the second stanza with the Eagles on top 45-25 at half-time.
The Eagles went on with the job to lead by as much as 24 in the third term before ending up winning by 15 to improve to a 9-7 record on the season with the two wins this weekend.
The Cavs have now lost five games in-a-row to slip to 3-13 on the season.
BJ Symons top-scored for Diamond Valley with 21 points and 12 rebounds on 9/13 shooting from the field with Ngor Manyang continuing his strong form with 19 points on 5/8 shooting from behind the three-point line.
Mandrell Worthy added 17 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals for the Eagles, Erik Kafritsas 14 points and six assists, Jock Perry 12 points and eight rebounds, and Joel Capetola 10 points and six assists.
Patrick Emilien delivered 26 points and nine rebounds on 11/16 shooting for Casey despite the loss with Blake Taylor contributing 12 points, three boards and three assists, Preston Bungei 12 points and eight rebounds, and Dylan Bucknell 11 points.

Braves score impressive OT win over Wildcats
The Bendigo Braves handed the Eltham Wildcats a second loss of the weekend as they continue their best patch of form of the NBL1 South season with the 91-84 Sunday victory.
Eltham took on the Frankston Blues in a battle of the top two teams on Saturday night but that 12-point loss saw them slip to fourth position ahead of taking on a fresh Braves outfit at Red Energy Arena on Sunday.
With the Braves trying to stay in the playoff hunt and the Wildcats looking to avoid slipping behind a top two spot, the stakes were significant on Sunday afternoon.
Bendigo started tremendously to open up an 11-point lead by the end of the first quarter and to lead by 13 in the second but Eltham fired back and by half-time, the Braves were only up 41-38.
Bendigo again threatened to open up a match-winning lead a couple of times in the second half including being nine points up in the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats kept fighting back.
In the end, the Wildcats forced the game to overtime in the most spectacular way possible with Sam Short finding Josh Sykes for a trademark dunk with scores remaining level at 75-75 by the end of regulation.
However, in the extra five minutes it was all Bendigo who took control of the contest with 16 points to nine to claim the seven-point win.
The result means the Braves improve to a 7-8 record on the season to remain in the playoff mix while the Wildcats slip to 10-5 with the double loss weekend.
Luke Rosendale showed his quality in the win for Bendigo with 28 points, five rebounds and two assists with 4/10 shooting from behind the three-point arc.
Bijan Johnson added 24 points and five assists, Lat Mayen 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Billy Smythe 10 points and 12 boards.
Callum Dalton stepped up for 26 points and 10 rebounds for Eltham on 10/19 shooting from the floor with Angus Glover producing 15 points, seven boards and three assists, Sam Short 12 points, nine assists and eight rebounds, Josh Sykes 11 points and nine boards, and Sam Whelan 11 points and five rebounds.

Kubank stars as Pioneers keep winning in Ballarat
Tom Kubank starred once more as the Mount Gambier Pioneers consolidated their top four position with a fourth straight win beating the Ballarat Miners 105-85 on Sunday.
Mount Gambier arrived at Selkirk Stadium on Sunday on the back of scoring a third straight win beating the Ringwood Hawks while the Miners were also fresh off an impressive 21-point victory at home to the North West Tasmania Thunder.
That set the tone for Sunday's match up and it was the Miners leading by two points at quarter-time, but the Pioneers took over in the second term with 30 points to 19.
That saw Mount Gambier leading 54-45 at the main break before pulling away further with another 28 points to 16 in the third period to set up the eventual 20-point triumph.
The victory means that the Pioneers have now won four in-a-row to improve to a 10-5 record to close in on a top four spot. The Miners couldn’t quite break into the top eight with the loss to see them slip to 7-9.
Tom Kubank starred for the Pioneers in the victory by delivering 24 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists on 9/15 shooting from the floor and 5/7 from the free-throw line.
Dylan Marshall added 21 points, four assists and three steals with 5/11 three-point shooting while Jacob Lampkin contributed 18 points, eight boards and five assists, Kane de Wit 14 points, six assists and four boards, Julian Pesava 12 points and five rebounds, and Titus Robinson 11 points and five boards.
Tyler Rudolph had another tremendous showing despite the loss for Ballarat finishing with 28 points, nine rebounds and three steals on 11/19 shooting.
Jack Davidson went 3/10 from beyond the arc for 14 points, six rebounds and three assists with Adam Thoseby putting up 11 points and four assists, and Nic Pozoglou 10 points, six assists and five rebounds.
Kernich-Drew fires Falcons to comeback win over Chargers
The Waverley Falcons came from behind to beat the Hobart Chargers 95-87 at home on Saturday with Dexter Kernich-Drew delivering his best performance of the NBL1 South season.
The Chargers were attempting to bounce back from Saturday night's loss to the Diamond Valley Eagles while Waverley were at home and playing their only game of the weekend needing a win to consolidate their playoff position.
It was the defending champion Chargers who started the better racing to a 12-point lead and still being on top 31-20 by quarter-time.
Hobart was still leading 50-40 at half-time but Waverley came out a different unit after the break and outscored the Chargers 25 points to 17 in the third period.
The Falcons then went on with the job with another 30 points to 20 in the fourth term to go on and score the eight-point win to make it three victories in-a-row to improve to a 9-6 record.
The Chargers remain outside the top eight now at 7-9 following the two defeats this weekend.
It was Dexter Kernich-Drew who was the shining light in the win for Waverley ending up with 37 points, seven assists, two rebounds and two blocks while going 11/19 from the floor, 6/13 from beyond the arc and 9/13 at the stripe.
Dillon Stith added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons, Tristan Forsyth 14 points and nine boards, and Jake Heath nine points and four assists.
Reigning Grand Final MVP Sam McDaniel who is preparing for a first NBL season at the Brisbane Bullets finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists despite the loss for Hobart.
Devin Watson added 27 points and 10 boards, and Jarred Bairstow 11 points and eight rebounds.
Purchase fires Tigers to big finish over Hawks
The Melbourne Tigers were back on the winner's list in the NBL1 South thanks to defeating the Ringwood Hawks 100-85 on Sunday.
It was the only appearance of the weekend for the Tigers while Ringwood fell to a fourth consecutive defeat the previous evening going down to the Mount Gambier Pioneers by seven points.
It was an important game for both teams if they wanted to keep themselves in touch of the top eight too and precious little separated them over the opening three quarters.
The biggest lead was the five-point advantage that Ringwood managed to open up in the second quarter, but by three quarter-time it was the Tigers clinging to a one-point lead.
From there, Melbourne dominated with 34 points to 20 in the final stanza including nine points in-a-row to end up leading by as much as 17 and to win by 15.
The victory improves the Tigers to 6-9 on the season while the Hawks are now 4-12 with five losses in-a-row.
Jack Purchase was the star of the afternoon for the Tigers with 34 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals including knocking down 6/10 of his three-point attempts.
Felix von Hofe also stepped up for 4/9 three-point shots for 14 points and three assists with Callan McDonald contributing 13 points, 10 boards, five assists, three steals and two blocks, Mason Gaze 12 points and five rebounds, and Taj Chehhal 12 points and seven assists.
Jonathan Lawton produced 28 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals for Ringwood with Kyle Daggett adding 12 points, 13 boards and four assists, Adrien Sturt 12 points and six rebounds, and Luke Shelley 11 points.
