In the WNBL, Bendigo Braves star Kelly Wilson finally got to run out for game 400, registering five points and four rebounds in the UC Capitals' loss to the Perth Lynx.
Abby Bishop continued to be the shining light for the Southside Flyers despite their slow start to the season.
The Ipswich Force star recorded five points, 17 rebounds and five assists in the Flyers' overtime loss against the Perth Lynx and backed it up with 17 points and five boards in her side's three-point loss to Melbourne.
Speaking of the Boomers, former Geelong Supercat Ezi Magbegor and Cairns Dolphins recruit Cayla George both had stellar weekends.
Magbegor averaged 15 points and eight rebounds in her team's wins over Southside and Perth while George put up 16 points and 10 boards.
For the Lynx, captain Darcee Garbin led the way with 18 points and six rebounds, backing up from her 10-point, five-rebound, four-block performance against the Flyers.
Kilsyth star Lauren Scherf also had a big weekend with 23 points and 10 boards against Southside and 18 points and six rebounds against Melbourne.
Townsville's Sam Froling tipped off Round 7 of the NBL with a career-high 27 points in Illawarra's win over Sydney, to go with his 10 boards.
On Saturday, Brisbane's dynamic duo, Nathan Sobey (18 points, four rebounds and three assists) and Lamar Patterson (12 points, three rebounds and eight assists) came up big for their side to get another win over a big contender in the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
In the Hawks' second game of the round, Mackay's Harry Froling stole the show among the NBL1 contingent in the side, recording 14 points and four boards off the bench.
The Adelaide 36ers completed the round with an 87-74 win over Perth and were led by skipper Mitch McCarron.
The Northside gun went close to a triple-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, while North Adelaide championship player Sunday Dech made his return to the side with 10 points and three boards of his own.
