This Friday night (11/08/2023) Basketball Victoria will host the NBL1 South 2023 Awards Night at the State Basketball Centre.
Each night of this week we will be unveiling nominated players, club officials and clubs for each award.
Tonight, we are announcing the Youth Player of the Year 2023 Nominations.
The player must be U23 at end of the home & away season, the top 10 players (as voted post game by referees & coaches) are then voted on by each club Captain & Coach to select the winner.
As per the league's by-laws, no player may win this award back-to-back seasons, so 2022 Youth Player of the Year recipients Owen Foxwell and Jade Melbourne are ineligible.
Winners will be announced Friday night from 7:30pm.
