Ballantyne eyes championship run

The Northern Star Resources Goldfields Giants are proud to announce the re-signing of Damon Ballantyne ahead of the 2024 NBL1 West season.

The 194cm guard continues a bright NBL1 career entering his fourth season with the club.

On his signing, Ballantyne said he was excited to still be playing with the same core group who have the same goal.

"I’m looking forward to the upcoming season with a new head coach and recruits. I can’t wait to compete and aim for the championship run," he said.

"Preseason was great - everyone has been competing and challenging one another to get better and we are really ready for game one."

Ballantyne's stand out game last season saw him notch 16 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists against the Joondalup Wolves.
