Chargers add import duo to roster

The Hobart Chargers have announced that AJ Harris and Wayne Stewart have signed on for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South Season.

The Hobart Chargers have announced that AJ Harris and Wayne Stewart have signed on for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South Season.
Having committed to the team to start the 2021 season, the ups and downs of the pandemic saw Harris search for other ventures.
However, he is set and keen to come and put on a show for the best team in the NBL1.
A 5'9" guard, Harris is currently playing in Norway's BLNO, where he is posting a season of 23.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 2.8 steals.
Across the league, he sits second in scoring, assists, and steals, making him one of the most exciting players on both ends of the court.
Harris was also an accomplished college basketball player, suiting up for the New Mexico State Aggies where he received selection in the WAC All-Conference and WAC All-Defensive Teams in 2019.
Having played with Stewart in the past, and now competing against him in the BLNO, one can only imagine what the future will bring when these two superstars combine once again in the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South Season.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Stewart played the bulk of his college basketball with Texas A&M Commerce, finishing his senior season averaging 18.8 points per game on a phenomenal 62.3 percent from the field and 45.7 perecent from outside the arc.
Showing no signs of slowing down, Stewart has been dominating the 2021-22 BLNO season in Norway.
The 201cm forward currently sits third in the league in scoring at 22.6 points per game, and continues to shoot the lights out at 62.3 percent from the floor and an astonishing 50.7 percent from three-point land!
Stewart also stands out when it comes to advanced numbers in the BLNO, leading the league in Player Efficiency Rating and Effective Field Goal Percentage.
All of this has seen Stewart help lead his team to a 16-4 record, the second-best winning percentage in the entire BLNO for this season.
With the ability to flat out score the basketball from anywhere on the floor with mind-boggling efficiency, Stewart is sure to become an instant fan favourite for the Hobart Chargers in the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South Season.
