Cockburn Cougars crowned NBL1 West women's champions

The Cockburn Cougars are the women's NBL1 West champions.

In a nail-biting finish, the Cougars defeated the 2021 champions the Willetton Tigers with an elite defensive effort against the 2023 MVP Alex Sharp.

Stephanie Gorman was named Finals MVP with 19 points and two steals, locking down Alex Sharp to shoot only 6/15 from the field in the Grand Final clash.
