Commentary Team for the NBL1 National Finals Revealed

The 2023 Coles Express NBL1 National Finals commentary panel has been announced and will feature representatives from all five conferences.

The line-up features home-grown talent and conference experts from across the country who will all descend on Joondalup for this year’s event. 

NBL commentator and NBL Senior Producer, Jack Heverin, said that the NBL1 National Finals will provide an excellent platform to facilitate the growth of the best of the best in the NBL1.

“The NBL1 has done a fantastic job facilitating the growth of commenters across the country,” he said. 

“The select few that have been selected are some of the best across the five conferences and I’m looking forward to hearing them take their opportunity in the NBL1 National Finals” 

The NBL1 pathway to the NBL has been shown on the court with players and coaches, referees and now we are hoping to build that bridge in the coming years for commentators.”

Joining the panel will be The NBL1 Show host Megan Hustwaite, who will be on the ground providing coverage across the three-day event. 

In the two Championship Games, 4x NBL Champion, 2022 NBL1 West champion and WA basketball legend Greg Hire and former NBL Assistant Coach Jamie O'Laughlin will provide Special Comments alongside our expert panel.
