The Nunawading Spectres have announced that Andrew Cutler will return as Head Coach of their NBL1 South Men’s program for the 2026 NBL1 South season.

Cutler, who has guided the Spectres since 2021, said he was grateful for the opportunity to continue his work with the club.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to return and continue my work with the club for another season,” Cutler said.

“We’ve started laying the foundations for the 2026 season, and we know we’ll need to build steadily towards competing in a very strong NBL1 South. We are excited to face that challenge while continuing to give Nunawading pathway players the chance to step up and make an impact.”

The 2025 campaign highlighted just how close Nunawading are to breaking into the finals race, with strong performances showing they can compete against the league’s best. With a deeper roster and further development, Cutler is confident the Spectres can rise to new heights in 2026.

Having progressed from junior and senior player to Big V Youth coach and now NBL1 Men’s Head Coach, Cutler’s long-standing connection to the Spectres continues to drive his passion for the role. His re-signing ensures continuity and stability as the program looks to take the next step.

The NBL1 South 2026 season tips off on Friday 27th March 2026. For all the latest updates, including player signings, coaching appointments and league news, make sure you’re following NBL1 South on Facebook and Instagram.
