Dandenong Announce NBL1 South 2026 Head Coaches

The Dandenong Rangers have announced their Head Coaches for the NBL1 South 2026 season, with Jaysn Harvey appointed to lead the Women’s program and Samantha Woosnam continuing as Head Coach of the Men’s team.

A veteran of Victorian basketball, Harvey brings more than 35 years of coaching experience across elite junior and senior levels. Renowned for his development acumen and leadership, he has guided multiple Victorian Metro State Teams, including nine as Head Coach, to success at both national and state championships.

Currently leading the Victorian Metro Under-18 Girls State Team, Harvey’s coaching credentials also span Basketball Victoria’s high performance programs, along with valuable senior experience from the WNBL, SEABL, and NBL1 levels. 

On the men’s side, Woosnam returns for her fourth season at the helm, remaining the only female Head Coach in the NBL1 South Men’s competition. A WNBL Life Member and three-time WNBL Champion, she has guided Dandenong to a 13–9 record and playoff berth in 2025, continuing to bring professionalism and high-level experience to the role.

With two accomplished and passionate leaders in charge, the Dandennong Rangers’ NBL1 programs are primed for an exciting 2026 campaign.
