Diamond Valley signs NBL and WNBL talents for 2022 season

The Diamond Valley Eagles have announced the signings of Dane Pineau, Dejan Vasiljevic and Sophie Burrows for the 2022 NBL1 South season. 

Pineau is coming into his fourth season of the NBL, having spent time with both the Sydney Kings and South East Melbourne Phoenix.

In the recent 2019-20 season, he averaged 8.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, shooting at 66 percent from the field.

Vasiljevic has shown his brilliance at the Sydney Kings since signing with them in 2020 and will look to do the same for the Eagles once he recovers from injury.

He joins his younger sister, Ivana, at the club. 

Also joining Ivana is Melbourne Boomers Development Player, Burrows. 

2022 will mark Burrows' second NBL1 South season with Diamond Valley. 

She averaged 11.83 points, 1.83 assists and 5.91 rebounds at just 16 years of age in 2021.
