Duon Dawam commits to Pioneers

The Mount Gambier Pioneers have signed Duom Dawam for the upcoming NBL1 South season, commencing on Saturday. 

Born in Sydney, the 6'10 centre is set to light up the floor, having spent time with Moravia Prep Academy in the United States. 

Dawam also formerly played in the Melbourne Basketball League with the MLV Chargers. 

He joins Tom Daly, Erik Burdon, Kane de Wit, Kyle Tipene, Nik DeSantis and Nick Marshall on the Pioneers' roster for 2021. 

They tip-off for NBL1 South on Saturday when they host the Bendigo Braves at the Ice House.
