Eagles Announce Coaching Transition for 2026

The Diamond Valley Eagles have announced Trevor Lee will transition from Head Coach of the NBL1 South Men’s team into the role of Associate Coach for the 2026 season.

Lee led the Eagles from 2023 to 2025, with his tenure highlighted by a preliminary final appearance in his first season and a strong emphasis on developing players through the Youth League into the NBL1 program.

Reflecting on his time as Head Coach, Lee said.

“It’s been an amazing few years being back at DV in NBL1. Making the preliminary final in my first season was extraordinary, and being able to bring players up through the Youth League program to our NBL1 roster has been a tremendous achievement I’m proud of."

"It was common knowledge amongst us that I was going to take a step back for the ’26 season, so we began putting a succession plan in place last year and though the plans have evolved, I’m confident the club is in great hands with the next coach to be announced soon."

"I look forward to seeing the program continue to grow and succeed and look forward to being Associate Coach next season for this great club.”

Diamond Valley confirmed a new Head Coach will be appointed shortly, with Lee to continue contributing to the program in a key support role as Associate Coach.
