The Goldfields Giants have welcomed back up-and-coming guard Damon Ballantyne and his understudy Sam Morrow for the 2021 NBL1 West season.
After joining the Giants from the Mandurah Magic towards the end of 2019, Ballantyne was one of the standout point guards in the 2020 WCC season with averages of 13 points and four assists per game, and he will look to further improve his stocks in the Giants' debut NBL1 season.
At only 18 years of age, Morrow is an exciting prospect who averaged eight points per game (10/18 from the field) in the last three games of the 2020 season, and he is another young player with a huge future at NBL1 level.
The signing of Ballantyne and Morrow now brings the total number of Giants 2021 contracted players to nine, and they will have further announcements and signings over the next few weeks.
