Falcons appoint Tom Bandilovski as Women’s Head Coach

The Waverley Falcons have announced Tom Bandilovski as the new Head Coach of their NBL1 South Women’s program for the 2026 season.

Bandilovski steps into the role after recent seasons as an Assistant Coach with the Falcons, contributing to the club’s 2024 Championship-winning campaign and continuing to support the program since. Prior to his time at Waverley, he served as Head Coach of Keilor Thunder’s NBL1 Women.

Falcons General Manager Elias Palioyiannis said the appointment reflects the club’s commitment to rewarding internal development.

“We are excited that Tom is taking on the role as Head Coach of our NBL1 Women’s team in 2026. Tom was an integral part of the coaching staff in our 2024 Championship winning season and it’s always a success when we can promote within the Association.”

Bandilovski now takes charge as the Falcons prepare to build towards another strong NBL1 South campaign in 2026.
