Jack McVeigh wins NBL Blitz MVP

The North Gold Coast Seahawk Jack McVeigh has won the Ray Borner Trophy as the most valuable player at the Hungry Jack's NBL Blitz.

McVeigh had an outstanding tournament, the Tasmanian JackJumper averaged 19 points at 59 per cent from the field, with almost four three-pointers per game, at an incredible 73 per cent from long range.

After McVeigh and the JackJumper's run to the NBL Grand Final, he suited up for the NBL1 North Seahawks and averaged 22.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and five assists. That was the start of a spectacular run as he headed straight to the Australian Boomers and now finishes as the Blitz MVP.
