Leila Davis re-signs with the Melbourne Tigers for 2026

The Melbourne Tigers have announced that guard Leila Davis will return to the club for the 2026 NBL1 South season.

The Melbourne Tigers have announced that guard Leila Davis will return to the club for the NBL1 South 2026 season.

A proud Tigers junior, Davis has progressed through the club’s pathway program, earning her place in the senior ranks through commitment and consistent development.

In the 2025 NBL1 South season, Davis featured as a Development Player, averaging 3.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. 

Davis also co-captained the Tigers’ Big V Youth Championship Women’s side, averaging 15.6 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, helping guide the team to a semi-final appearance.

Currently based in the United States preparing for her NCAA season with the University of Texas–Tyler (Division II, Lone Star Conference), Davis will rejoin the Tigers ahead of the 2026 campaign.

“Super excited to be running it back with the Tiges once again – can’t wait to be with the group and win games!” Davis said.
