Melbourne Tiger Athletes win WNBL title

The Flyers roster, arguably the strongest ever assembled for a WNBL season, included three Melbourne Tiger athletes: Monique Conti, Bec Cole and Jenna O’Hea.

It was a massive Sunday in north Queensland when the Southern Flyers won the 2020 WNBL championship, defeating the Townsville Fire.
The Flyers roster, arguably the strongest ever assembled for a WNBL season, included three Melbourne Tiger athletes: Monique Conti, Bec Cole and Jenna O’Hea.
Mon has played basketball with the Tigers since the age of seven and is currently a mainstay of the Tigers NBL1 team. Mon also successfully juggles an AFLW career as a marquee player with Richmond.
Bec Cole was an outstanding athlete in the Tigers 2018 SEABL team and Jenna O’Hea put up some massive numbers in the Tigers 2019 NBL1 team, before succumbing to injury.
