NBL1 East: Hills Hornets
The Hornets locked in their finals spot this weekend off the back of some important wins across the East.
On Friday night the Hornets beat the Spiders by 12 points, shooting 57.5 percent from the field. On Saturday it was a closely-contested battle against the Bankstown Bruins, winning by seven points with five players scoring in double-digits.
With the NBL1 East Finals looming, can the Hornets carry their momentum into Round 18 against the Centre of Excellence?

NBL1 North: Sunshine Coast Phoenix
The Sunshine Coast pulled off a massive two-point win on the road against the stacked Ipswich Force on Saturday.
Mason Bragg had a game-high 32 points with five assists and five rebounds, finishing the game with two free throws to push the margin to 106-104.
NBL1 South: Geelong United Supercats
It was a massive Round 14 for the Supercats, with their star Gabe Hadley signing a deal with the Brisbane Bullets off the back of a 2-0 weekend in the NBL1 South.
With a massive win at home against Keilor on Saturday, Hadley dropped 43 points while teammate DeMarcus Gatlin had a triple-double to set the stage for Sunday.
Against the Falcons in Waverley, former Cairns Taipan George Blagojevic had 30 points and 17 rebounds to complicate Waverley’s Finals standings.
NBL1 Central: Norwood Flames
In a clutch win on Saturday, the Norwood Flames shocked the North Adelaide Rockets with a 37-point fourth quarter on the road.
Walter McBride had 30 points in the win as the Flames finished the season strong.
NBL1 West: Lakeside Lightning
The Lakeside Lightning locked in their NBL1 West Finals spot with a must-win clash over the Warwick Senators on Friday night.
In the four-point win, Max Richards had 25 points and 10 rebounds to put the Lightning into the Finals race.
Their defence from outside the arc kept them within reach, holding Warwick to only 30.7 percent from three-point land.
