Thursday: The Battle of Joondalup

A historic rivalry in the suburb of Joondalup, the Warwick Senators will head down to the home of the Wolfpack on Thursday night.

On the women’s side, you must watch out for club junior and MVP-contender Chloe Forster, averaging 25.5 points per game. On the men’s side, Perth Wildcat Elijah Pepper is currently on a heater, scoring 101 points across his first two clashes.

With two superstars in both games, make sure to watch live and free via Kayo Freebies.

Thursday: Opals go head-to-head

Women’s 6:30pm | Men’s 8:30pm AWST via NBL1.com.au or the NBL1 App

With Zitina Aokuso returning from Europe and Alex Sharp continuing her legacy as one of the NBL1 West’s greatest players, this will be a phenomenal game for any fan of basketball.

In her first game back on Australian soil, Aokuso had a near quadruple-double for Willetton with 19 points, 11 assists, nine rebounds, seven steals and three blocks in a win over the Eastern Suns. Sharp has continued her Finals MVP form from last season, averaging 20.5 points and 18 rebounds in her two games for Rockingham.

Who will win in the battle of Opals? We’ll find out via NBL1.com.au or the NBL1 App.

NBL1 South 2023 Grand Final rematch

Women’s 6:30pm | Men’s 8:30pm AEST via Kayo Freebies

While the rosters may have some changeover since the heartstopping finish of the 2023 NBL1 South Men’s Grand Final, there will still be plenty of bitter emotions coming into the clash.

Sandringham Sabre recruit Malith Machar will face his old side, the Knox Raiders, for the first time since their 2024 National Championship. While Knox has recruited just as well, bringing in Sydney King Keli Leaupepe, Sunday Dech and Tad Dufelmeier.

It will be a star-studded affair at the State Basketball Centre so make sure to watch live and free via Kayo Freebies.

Friday: Dynamic Duo vs Superteam

Women’s 4:30pm | Men’s 6:30pm ACST via Kayo Freebies

West Adelaide’s duo of Keanu Rasmussen and Lat Mayen will stare down the imposing Forestville Eagles’ superteam on Good Friday.

Dejan Vasiljevic will be ready to put on a show while Daniel Johnson, Finals MVP Greg Mays and reigning Woollacott medallist (MVP) Alex Starling will back him up. If you are a fan of the NBL or Adelaide basketball, this will be must-watch television – live and free on Kayo Freebies.

Saturday: The Brooke Basham show

Women’s 4:30pm | Men’s 8:30pm ACST via Kayo Freebies

Brooke Basham has become a staple of NBL1 Central, and with no other games happening, this will be a spotlight for the superstar to shine. Coming off a season-high of 36 points last week, expect the WNBL talent to do everything on the court and score a whole lot of points.

With a 3-0 record coming into this clash, the North Adelaide Rockets want to extend their record on the road. But don’t expect it to be a pushover game, as American import McKenzie Johnson is bound to have a statement game soon.
