Forestville Eagles vs Woodville Warriors (Kayo Game of the Week)
Eagles rock first quarter to roll over Warriors
A devastating opening quarter from the Eagles rocked the Warriors 81-51 in the finish at the Nest. Sam Simons was unstoppable again at the start as she poured in 15 of her 21 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists to drive her side to an early unassailable lead. Bella Stratford (15 points and 7 rebounds) and Rachel Hines (14 points and 3 steals) did the damage from there as the Eagles were able to spread the minutes amongst their roster. Regan Turnour-McCarty (14 points and 17 rebounds) kept the Warriors competitive after halftime as did Eliza Joynes (13 points and 10 rebounds) with Emily Winter well held by the defence of the Eagles.

Scything Skinner skips Tigers past Sabres
The Tigers took till the final quarter to hit the lead and managed thanks to an enormous second half haul from star Demi Skinner skip over the Sabres just; 69-72 at the Cave. Skinner lit up for 20 second half points to finish with 30 points and 8 rebounds after Mollie McKendrick kept them in the match with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the first half; she finished with 23 points and 18 rebounds. A career high 19 points including 4 of 9 triples and 11 points in the last term from Jasmine Rigoni along with her team’s mammoth 22 of 24 from the free throw line had setup what was thought to be a commanding lead. The Tigers rallied for a final run of 26-41 as Jaedyn De La Cerda who was held scoreless for 22 minutes broke the drought then drained the triple to put the Tigers in front after the Sabres led by as many as 15 in the match. With score level at 76-76, De La Cerda drained an outrageously long triple to put the Tigers up before Morgan Yaeger sealed it at the charity stripe despite a late Kayla Mathews tre. Mikayla Williams quelled during the game with foul trouble still finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds but the Tigers got the all-important win to keep their finals chances alive.
North Adelaide Rockets vs Eastern Mavericks
Taylor made performance breaks Rockets drought
A perfect import performance has stopped the slide for the Rockets of five losses as they upset the Mavericks 78-66 at the Launch Pad. Peyton Taylor delivered 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 steals to lead her team to a fast start of 28-14. The Mavs Brigitte Lefebvre-Okankwu brought them back into it to finish with 27 points and 17 rebounds in the games dominant performance between the two sides but the Rockets showed desperation in the closing stages. Oksana Gouchie-Provencher had back-to-back double figure contributions with 17 points and 7 rebounds while the Rocket got plenty of even efforts including young forward Lily Zbierski with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
South Adelaide Panthers vs Central District Lions
Panthers pounce in second to tie down Lions
The second quarter was telling for the Panthers as they tied the Lions down and never let them back in winning comfortably 78-52 at the Jungle. The homeside capitalised on 9-0 in points from turnovers and punished the overall count of 30 from the Lions. The scoring was shared with Ash “Splash” Spencer leading the way off the bench again with 16 points and along with Isa Osk Sigurdardottir who proved too big for the Lions front court with 8 points and 13 rebounds dealed out the pain from the Panthers. Raynisha Washington was best for the Lions with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
West Adelaide Bearcats vs Norwood Flames
Ten-in-a-row Bearcats hold off late Flames fire
The Bearcats have won ten in a row to hold the second largest winning streak in Womens NBL1 Central since 2019 as held off a late Flames fire 68-65 at the Bearcat Cave. The Bearcats opened their lead in the second quarter as they led 49-34 at half time thanks mainly to Madelynn Utti with 10 first half points. Utti finished with 13 points and 16 rebounds to dominate the glass again and Jennie Rintala backed up her previous nights work with team high 18 points and 7 rebounds. Ally Wilson willed her Flames back into the contest with 33 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists along with Brooke Basham who collected 14 points but had a last bizzare few seconds as with needing a triple to tie couldn't get the pass back from Wilson in time to attempt the shot to send the game to overtime.
Central District Lions vs Forestville Eagles
Stamatelopoulos now and Annetts thrash Lions in first half
A big first half from two Eagles particularly gave the Lions no chance as they thrashed the homeside 49-94 at the Den. Katia Stamatelopoulos and Cara Annetts did the damage in the first half with 10 and 11 points respectively with Stamatelopoulos finishing with 13 points and Annetts with 13 points and 8 rebounds with the Eagles sealing it before the half with a devastating 16-53 lead. Sam Simons cruised her way to 16 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 4 steals while Raynisha Washington was best for the Lions again with 20 points along with Tyla Bennett who kept her side competitive after halftime with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and a block.
