There were six games of NBL1 Central action this Sunday, with some impressive results as teams start to settle into their places in the competition.

Check out the games below.

WOMEN

Woodville Warriors (61) def by Central District Lions (65)

A stunning meltdown from Woodville handed Central District the win here, with the Warriors outscored 20-3 in the fourth quarter en route to a four-point loss.

Regan Turnour-McCarty was the standout for Woodville, with a 16-point 14 rebound double-double, as well as five steals.

The Lions had their own whopper double-double - Tylar Bennett with 13 points and 17 rebounds - while Casey Samuels led all scorers with 26 points.

WOODVILLE 61 (Turnour-McCarty 16, Winter 15, Perkas and Joynes 8)

CENTRAL DISTRICT 65 (Samuels 26, Washington and Bennett 13)

Eastern Mavericks (79) def by South Adelaide Basketball Club (90)

A tough loss for the Mavericks in this game, not quite able to claw their way to a win.

They had a combined 51 points from Oksana Gouchie-Prov and Olivia Bradley, and Brigitte Lefebvre-Oka contributed 14 points and 12 rebounds.

However, South Adelaide had more on the day, Olivia Levicki leading the game in both points and rebounds - 25 and 14 respectively.

EASTERN 79 (Bradley 26, Gouchie-Prov 25, Lefebvre-Oka 14)

SOUTH ADELAIDE 90 (Levicki 25, Stewart 19, Spencer 17)

North Adelaide Rockets (61) def by Norwood Flames (76)

The Flames took a solid win against the Rockets, downing them by 15 points thanks to the play of Brooke Basham and Molly Coleman.

Basham led all scorers with 27 points, as well as five rebounds and five assists, while Coleman came off the bench for 20 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.

Peyton Taylor tried her best to keep the Rockets in the game, with 19 points and 11 rebounds, but North Adelaide’s lack of depth was on full display in this game.

NORTH ADELAIDE 61 (Taylor 19, Corrigan 10, Badenoch 9)

NORWOOD 76 (Basham 27, Coleman 20, Wilson and Akuen 8)

MEN

North Adelaide Rockets (74) def by Norwood Flames (103)

An impressive win here from the Flames, getting up 29 points over the rockets thanks to a spread scoring effort led by Matt Lycett and Anthony Green.

Both Lycett and Green had 21 points, with Green adding 17 rebounds to lead the game in both stats.

North Adelaide had some impressive play - Terry Winn had 19 points and eight rebounds - but the Rockets didn't have the depth needed to claim this win

NORTH ADELAIDE 74 (Winn 19, Akoh 15, Rathjen 11)

NORWOOD 103 (Lycett and Green 21, Barei 19)

Central Districts Lions (85) def by Woodville Warriors (110)

The Warriors claim a huge win here, taking down the Lions by 25 points despite the stellar play from Magok Manyang.

Manyang led all scorers with 30 points, to go along with 10 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals.

While Woodville didn't have a 30-point scorer, their five players in double digits were enough to claim an easy win.

CENTRAL DISTRICTS 85 (Manyang 30, Johnson and Deer 14)

WOODVILLE 110 (Humphries 24, McGee 15, Wurm and Jackson 12)

Eastern Mavericks (94) def by South Adelaide Basketball Club (96)

Another nail-biter, the SABC hung on to beat the Eastern Mavericks, with some huge play on display.

Both teams had a 39-point scorer - James Leagan for the Mavericks, Jeremy Smith for SABC - but the supporting cast of Eastern proved that little bit stronger, as the team claimed a hard-fought two-point win.

EASTERN 94 (Legan 39, Cromarty 19, McCalop 15)

SOUTH ADELAIDE 96 (Smith 39, Davies 17, Hoppo 10)
