There were Saturday night Round 13 NBL1 East Women's wins for the Albury-Wodonga Bandits, Newcastle Falcons and Sutherland Sharks.
The action for First Nations Round got underway on Saturday evening with the Albury-Wodonga Bandits defeating the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles 97-54.
Lauren Jackson was back for the Bandits and she was a match-winner once again with 33 points and 16 rebounds with Unique Thompson adding 22 points and boards. Maja Jurlina top-scored for the Sea Eagles with 16 points.
The Newcastle Falcons delivered a strong defensive showing to hold the Hills Hornets to 28 points for three quarters on the way to a 64-46 win at home on Saturday night.
Chyra Evans finished with 27 points and nine rebounds for the Falcons while Rhiannon Yetsenga finished with 12 points for the Hornets.
The Sutherland Sharks were also impressive at home on Saturday night to defeat the Central Coast Crusaders 80-59.
Lauren Nicholson finished with 23 points and seven assists for the Sharks with Sara Matthews top-scoring for Central Coast with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Round 13 in the NBL1 East Women's competition wraps up on Sunday afternoon with the Norths Bears hosting the Albury-Wodonga Bandits at 2pm and the Canberra Nationals at home to the Inner West Bulls at 3pm.

MANLY-WARRINGAH SEA EAGLES 54 lost to ALBURY-WODONGA BANDITS 97
Lauren Jackson was back for the Albury-Wodonga Bandits on Saturday and she helped them to the emphatic 43-point road victory to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
The Sea Eagles played host to the Bandits at Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday evening as Round 13 in the NBL1 East got underway with a flying start by the Jackson-inspired Bandits even away from home.
Albury-Wodonga went on an early 13-0 scoring streak and that turned into a 25-point lead during the opening quarter and they were still on top 32-10 by the end of the first period.
The Bandits maintained their advantage the rest of the way to lead by as much as 29 points during the second quarter, 35 points in the third quarter and then 50 during the fourth before settling with the 97-54 victory.
It was a remarkable dominance on the glass from the Bandits as they collected 64 rebounds to 37 for the night including 22 offensive boards to five. They shot 44.9 per cent from the field while taking 18 free-throws to nine while the Sea Eagles shot at 31.3 per cent from the floor.
Lauren Jackson took another step towards making herself impossible to leave out of the Australian Opals team for the FIBA World Cup by sparking the Bandits with 33 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and two steals on shooting 15/22 from the floor.
Unique Thompson added 22 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals for Albury-Wodonga, Ai Yamada 15 points and five assists, Amelia Hassett 10 points, eight rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks, and Brodie-Paige Theodore eight points, seven assists, three boards and three steals.
Maja Jurlina finished with 16 points and two rebounds for Manly-Warringah while Alex Delaney contributed 12 points and seven boards, and Kim Hodge eight points and four rebounds.
NEWCASTLE FALCONS 64 defeated HILLS HORNETS 46
The Newcastle Falcons delivered quite the dominant defensive performance on the way to an 18-point victory at home to the Hills Hornets on Saturday night.
The Falcons played host to the Hornets in Round 13 of the NBL1 East at Newcastle Basketball Stadium and they put quite the clamps on the visitors especially throughout the first three quarters.
Newcastle held Hills to just the eight points in the first quarter while they put up 23 points themselves on the way to leading by as much as 16 during the opening stanza.
While the Falcons still limited the Hornets to just 13 points in the second term, they only managed to score 12 themselves with their lead back to 35-21 by the half-time break.
Newcastle then outscored the Hornets 11 points to seven in the third quarter as the lead got out to as much as 25 points in the fourth period and the Falcons went on to score the 64-46 victory.
The Falcons dominated the glass with 60 rebounds to 39 including 20 offensive boards to 11 while they got to the foul line 22 points to 10.
Neither team had great shooting nights as evidenced by the final scoreline with the Falcons shooting 32.8 per cent to 26.9 per cent from the Hornets while Newcastle hit 4/32 from three and Hills 4/20 from downtown.
Chyra Evans finished with 27 points, nine rebounds and three steals for Newcastle with Nicole Munger contributing 12 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks, and Emily Foy nine points and six boards.
Rhiannon Yetsenga put up 12 points and five rebounds for the Hornets, Paris Roditis 10 points, two boards and two assists, Taryn Mahoney eight points, eight rebounds and three steals, and Cassandra Pentney six points and eight boards.
SUTHERLAND SHARKS 80 defeated CENTRAL COAST CRUSADERS 59
The Sutherland Sharks produced a strong all-round showing to end up beating the Central Coast Crusaders by 21 points at home on Saturday night.
First Nations Round in the NBL1 East got underway on Saturday evening with the Sharks hosting the Crusaders at Sutherland Basketball Stadium with the home team not taking long to work their way on top.
Sutherland scored 14 straight points in the first quarter to lead by as much as 15 before still leading 17-9 by the end of the opening period.
Another eight straight points for the Sharks saw their lead grow out to 20 points and they were still in control 39-21 at the major break.
The Sharks continued to build on their lead with the advantage growing to 26 points during the quarter before they consolidated for the eventual 80-59 victory.
The Sharks finished the game collecting 56 rebounds to 42 from the Crusaders along with shooting 42.3 per cent from the floor opposed to 24.7.
Lauren Nicholson was the star of the victory for Sutherland with 23 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals including knocking down 4/7 from the land of plenty.
Madeleine Norris added 13 points and four rebounds, Lauren Calver 12 points and 11 boards, Emily Garland six points and two boards, Courtney West six points and four rebounds, Olivia White six points and 10 boards, and Vanessa Panousis six points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Sara Matthews top-scored for Central Coast with 20 points and 10 rebounds with Abbey Cracknell contributing 16 points and two assists, and Jonalyn Wittwer 10 points, four rebounds and three assists.
