Isla Jufferman set to take over 2023

The 17-year-old 6’4 centre has had a roaring start to the 2023 season. In her third game she put up 19 points, 12 rebounds, 6 steals and two assists against the hopeful contenders Maitland. The CoE has endless talent but Jufferman may be their key to a championship season.

Shakera Reilly is comfortable with her new team

Making the move from Mount Gambier to Maitland, Reilly is starring with her new team. She scored 27 points, shooting 4/8 from three with five rebounds and three steals against the CoE in the defeat on the road.

Men’s CoE clutched an overtime win at home

In a close clash against the runners-up last season, the youngsters showed their ability to close a game against a veteran squad. A shared scoring effort in OT between John Murphy, Jensen Bradtke and Alex Toohey the Centre of Excellence got the win.

William Cranston-Lown continues to shine

The 22-year-old point guard has been one of the Mustangs’ key factors in each game this season and today was no different. Scoring 23 points, five rebounds and five assists, the guard was critical in forcing OT against CoE and will likely be a contender for the Foot Locker Player of the Week each round.
