NBL1 East
Maitland Mustangs: Willliam Cranston-Lown
In back-to-back games, William Cranston-Lown was outstanding. Knocking off the reigning champion Canberra Gunners by five points with a 37-point performance on Saturday and following that up with 23 points, five rebounds and five assists in an overtime loss to the undefeated Centre of Excellence on Sunday.
With a killer Round 2 average of 30 points, 3.5 rebounds and four steals, Cranston-Lown was far and away the men’s pick for the Foot Locker Player of the Week.

Sydney Comets: Vanessa Panousis
In the Comets’ two straight wins this season, Panousis has been the team’s top-scoring gun. In their 31-point win on Saturday against the Hills Hornets, the WNBL veteran scored 32 with seven rebounds and six assists.
