NBL1 South Co-MVP re-signs for 2024

The Melbourne Tigers have announced that the NBL1 South Co-MVP Jack Purchase has re-signed with the club for the 2024 season. 

The star forward averaged 21.4 points, 6,4 rebounds and four assists for the Tigers last season, leading a late-season push that almost got the team into the Finals -- finishing only two wins outside the top eight and a final record of 10-12. 12th on the ladder. 

As a result, he was named the Co-MVP alongside Frankston players player Dan Trist -- both being selected for the NBL1 South All-Star Five. 

Purchase said he's excited to return to the club for the 2024 season. 

“I’m very excited to be back playing with the Tigers and playing for Andrew [Gaze] and Jay [Lomer] again," he said.

"We made some great progress last season and I can’t wait to build on it this year and make a big push to play finals. We have a great group of players and I am really looking forward to the start of the season! Go Tiges."
