Bendigo hit the road to take on Sandringham in the afternoon round 4 clash. The Braves were too much for Sandringham in the end.
Tess Madgen led Bendigo with a huge 36pt 7reb performance. Georgia Pineau did what she could for the homeside, scoring 20 pts with 5 reb.

Casey Cavaliers (76) def by Nunawading Spectres (95)
Nunawading stole a convincing win on Casey’s home court.
Alice Kunek was dominant. She finished with 40 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Rachel Bell and Monique combined for 48.

Hobart Chargers (62) def by Diamond Valley Eagles (69)
It was a close finish between the Eagles and the Chargers. Though Hobart put up a fight, Diamond Valley led through the majority of the game and were able to come away with the win.
Imogen Rock had 15 points to lead Diamond Valley. Thompson, Tompkins and McCauley combined for 59 of Hobart’s 62 points.

Eltham Wildcats (77) def by Geelong Supercats (89)
Eltham started the contest strong, but Geelong took over in the second period and rode it until the final buzzer.
23 points 14 rebounds and 5 assists - it was that type of night for Sara Blicavs.

Three Miners (Aokuso, Melbourne and Brancatisano) played all 40 minutes of the contest and the Cobras had no answer for them.
Recent WNBA draftee Jade Melbourne scored 26 points along with 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.

Mt. Gambier Pioneers (55) def by Ringwood Hawks (62)
The Pioneers lose a close one here, going down to the Falcons by only seven points in an away matchup with Ringwood.
Ringwood outplayed Mt. Gambier on the offensive end with four Hawks reaching double figures.
Cassandra Brown top scored for the contest with 19 points.

Waverly Falcons (58) def by Frankston Blues (70)
Frankston took the lead in the opening seconds and held it until the final buzzer. Waverly came out firing with 25 in the third period, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Blues in the end.
Bec Cole top scored with 24 points.

Dandenong Rangers (65) def by Launceston Tornadoes (92)
Kelsey Griffin and Keely Froling put on an offensive clinic combining for 68 of Launceston’s 92 along with 28 rebounds.
Emilee Harmon added 29 points for Dandenong, though this wasn’t enough in the end.

Bendigo Braves (65) def by Sandringham Sabres (71)
Bendigo’s young core group didn’t shy away from Sandringham’s veteran squad, though the Sabres were too strong for the Braves
Shea Ili top scored for Sandringham with 23 points. Melbourne United development player David Okwera had a massive performance recording 13 points and 19 rebounds.

Casey Cavaliers (70) def by Nunawading Spectres (76)
The Spectres were able to steal a 6 point win in Casey Nunawading shot the lights out, going 48% from three point range compared to Casey’s 20%.
Dain Swetalla had 19 pts 11 reb. Davo Hickey did what he could for Casey contributing 22 points and 3 steals.

Hobart led the whole contest with their strong inside presence doing most of the damage - 54 of their points came from inside the paint.
Aj Harris scored 23 points, Ola Angerstein finished with 21 and 8.

Despite Eltham’s first half efforts, Geelong was able to bounce back and secure the win. Their strong inside presence and rebounding was key - 51 rebounds.
Demarcus Gatlin and Gabriel Hadley both finished with 21 points.

The Miners surged in the final minutes of the contest, forcing three crucial turnovers to come home with a 6 point win.
Koen Sapwell led the Miners with 21 points. Preston Bungei wasn’t far behind him with 15 pts and 9 reb.

Ringwood Hawks (90) def by Mt. Gambier Pioneers (109)
In a high scoring contest, the top-of-the-comp Pioneers managed a 19 point away win over the Hawks.
Nick Marshall exploded for 32 pts, 9 reb and 4 ast. Robert Heath dropped 26 for the losing side.

The Frankston Blues took over in the second half to defeat Waverly. Their Starting group contributed 91 of their 96 points.
Dillon Stith finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds along with a monster highlight dunk.

Despite only a 7 point third quarter, NW Tasmania overall team performance was too strong, dishing out an impressive 22 assists and ultimately getting the victory.
Paul Campbell recorded 16 points along with 7 rebounds.
