Albury-Wodonga Bandits 65 def by Bendigo Braves 103

The Bendigo Braves have moved into second place on the NBL1 South ladder following a convincing victory over the Bandits in Albury-Wodonga on Saturday evening.
After a back and forth opening five minutes of action, the Braves charged ahead, going on a 17-9 run to close the first quarter after trailing 9-7.
Leaning on terrific defence and crisp ball movement, Bendigo looked unstoppable across the next three terms.
The visitors registered 25 field goals from assists, while holding the Bandits to just 22 made baskets for the game.
Cassidy McLean (13 points, eight assists) led the way in terms of moving the ball for the Braves, however it was the inside-out attack from Abigail Wehrung (30 points, five assists) and Kate Oliver (20 points, 14 rebounds) that proved most damaging.
On the other side, Brodie-Paige Theodore (27 points) did her best to spark a comeback attempt for Albury-Wodonga, however it was not to be for the home side, as the Bandits trailed by 20 points or more for the entire second half.
The loss ends a three-game winning streak for Albury-Wodonga and all but ensures the side will finish outside of the top eight.
