Eltham Wildcats 105 def Sandringham Sabres 91
The Eltham Wildcats have snapped a two-game losing streak, coming from behind to beat the Sandringham Sabres at home.
After a tight first quarter, Sandringham pulled ahead in the second term thanks in part to some strong play from Nicholas Gabsch.
Gabsch scored 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Sabres as the side extended its lead to 16 points mid-way through the second quarter.
Ever resilient, the Wildcats continued to push Sandringham, closing the gap to seven points at the main break before taking the lead in the third term.
Sam Whelan played a massive role in orchestrating the Eltham comeback, scoring 33 points off the bench, while bigman Simon Bradbury made his presence felt inside, tallying 22 points and 14 rebounds.
The Wildcats were able to hold Sandringham at bay for the remainder of the game to secure the win and hand the Sabres its fifth consecutive loss.

Frankston Blues 111 def Bendigo Braves 82
The Frankston Blues have put an emphatic end to the Bendigo Braves’ four game winning streak, dominating the visitors in a wire-to-wire victory.
The Blues opened up a 10-point lead to close the first term and only got better from there.
Five Frankston players scored above 16 points, with Dillon Stith and Lachlan Barker leading the way with 22 points each.
The Blues simply seemed to find itself in one easy scoring opportunity after another. Many of these opportunities were created by Lucas Barker, who flirted with a triple double in the victory (17 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds).
Frankston led by as many as 37 points in the contest before ultimately taking its foot off the gas in the final term, cruising to the comfortable 29-point win.

Melbourne Tigers 85 def by Dandenong Rangers 93
The Dandenong Rangers have secured its first win of the NBL1 South season, coming from behind to beat the Melbourne Tigers on the road.
It was a tale of two halves, and two very different offensive gameplans during the contest.
Melbourne leaned on its outside shooting early, opening up an 11-point advantage in the first quarter.
Seven Tigers players connected from downtown in the contest, however Dandenong fought back within striking distance in the second quarter before taking a five-point lead into the main break.
For the Rangers, the focus was clearly to attack Melbourne on the interior, which was exactly what star center Oliver Hayes-Brown did over the four quarters.
Hayes-Brown led all scorers with 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as the Tigers struggled to match his energy.
After taking the lead going into half time, the Rangers held onto its advantage over the remaining two quarters to lift itself off the bottom of the ladder.
Dandenong will look to build on its winning effort next week against the surging Hobart Chargers.
