NBL1 West Tribunal: Slammers Import Receives Suspension

PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA -- The NBL1 West Tribunal has concluded its hearing into the report involving Jamal Poplar of the South West Slammers, which occurred post-game of the Round 9 men’s match between Perry Lakes Hawks and South West Slammers on Saturday, 31 May 2025.

The Tribunal found Poplar guilty of offensive language towards a match official and imposed a two-match suspension, meaning he will be unavailable for the Slammers next two games against the Perth Redbacks and Rockingham Flames.

The League will make no further comment at this time.
