NBL1 Wildcard Recap: Rnd 6: Saturday

In some NBL1 Wildcard action the Frankston Blues have taken down the Basketball Australia Women’s Centre of Excellence team in Frankston. 

The Blues scored 73 to CoE’s 66, Frankston’s Darcee Garbin sealed the win with an and-one drive in the final moments of the game. She finished with 29 points, 13 rebounds and six steals. 

One of the stars of the 2019 U19 Women’s FIBA World Cup and silver medallist for Australia Nyadiew Puoch had a huge game, scored 19 points with six rebounds her athleticism was a headache for the Blues. CoE’s Dallas Loughridge also had a strong showing with 20 points.
