Keilor Thunder scored the last four points of the game over the last three minutes to hold out the Waverley Falcons for the 75-70 home victory.

The Thunder were back at Keilor Stadium on Saturday night looking for a fourth win of the season while the Falcons were attempting to win a fifth with both coming off defeats against the Knox Raiders and the Casey Cavaliers respectively.

The momentum swings continued but Keilor was threatening to open up a handy lead right throughout the fourth period, but the Falcons stayed in touch and were down just one with three minutes to play when Mason Forbes completed a three-point play.

From there, Waverley didn’t manage to score in the last three minutes despite a host of good looks inside and outside the arc, but Keilor completed the win thanks to free throws from Jayce Beasley and Deng Dut.

The five-point win improves Keilor to a 4-6 record on the season with Deng Dut putting up 23 points, five rebounds and two steals.
