Spectres to Represent on National Stage

Nunawading Spectres duo Tristan Devers and Tiernan Stynes have been selected to represent Victoria at the upcoming U20 Australian Championships in Geelong as part of Basketball Victoria’s State Team Program.

MELBOURNE – Nunawading Spectres duo Tristan Devers and Tiernan Stynes have been selected to represent Victoria at the upcoming U20 Australian Championships in Geelong as part of Basketball Victoria’s State Team Program.

Both Devers and Stynes last represented Victoria earlier this year as key members of the Vic Metro U18 Men that claimed silver in Ballarat. The pair will feature for Nunawading in the NBL1 South 2023 season.  

Nunawading Spectres NBL1 South Women's Assistant Coach Gail MacFarlane will also represent Victoria at the U20 Australian Championships as an Assistant Coach on the women’s side of the program. MacFarlane has been an integral member of Vic Country's coaching staff for many years and also leads the Spectres U14.1 Girls. 

The U20 Australian Championships will be held in Geelong this February.
