The Frankston Blues are excited to announce the acquisition of 6'9 import forward, Stokley Chaffee Jr., for the upcoming NBL1 South 2024 Season.
Chaffee, hailing from Oakland, California, joins the Blues after his stint in the Philippines Basketball Association, where he played for NLEX Road Warriors. During his time with NLEX, he boasted impressive averages of 22.8 points, 13 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
Adam Jackson, the Assistant Coach for Frankston Blues' NBL1 Men's team and head of recruiting, sees Chaffee as the missing piece in the puzzle for the upcoming season, aiming to address areas where the team fell short in 2023.
In expressing his excitement for the move, Chaffee shared,
"My name is Stokley Chaffee; I'm from Oakland, California, and I can't wait to get to Australia. I hold a degree in computer science, and I'm passionate about computers, streaming, and gaming."
"Australia has always been a dream destination for me since childhood due to my love for marine and wildlife, and it's known for having some of the best. Shout out to Steve Irwin!"
"I'm thrilled to play for the incredible fans and contribute to bringing a championship to the Blues."
