The NBL1 South Blitz tips off this Saturday morning!

Bringing together all the Victorian and South Australian-based NBL1 South teams for a monumental pre-season hit-out before the season commences on 19 April, the NBL1 South Blitz will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Dandenong Basketball Stadium, Stud Rd, Dandenong.

Our NBL1 South men’s and women’s teams will battle it out to tune up their squads and prepare for a massive season ahead across Southern Australia!

With FREE entry for everyone and 28 elite NBL1 South games on the schedule, it will make for an incredible weekend to see the best and brightest of Australian basketball!

Keilor and Casey will make their NBL1 South debuts this season to further add to the strength of the league in 2022.

NBL1 South Manager Alison Cody said it was fantastic to have the league return this weekend.

"We’re excited to get back on court with the NBL1 South Blitz," Cody said.

"It’s been an extremely long off-season for us - with last year’s COVID-19 interrupted season – but now that’s behind us, we’re excited to get stuck into the 2022 NBL1 South season to finally crown our newest champions!"

The first game tips off on Saturday at 9am.
