The South Adelaide Panthers will be a tough team to beat in the NBL1 National Final. Not only do they have the conference MVP Jeremy Smith, but they have the Defensive Player of the Year Alex Starling as well – the two best players on both sides of the court!

The Panther's talent has been outstanding in NBL1 Central, not only the award winners but players like Todd Davies have played extremely well to complement the stars.

South Adelaide had a gruelling final to get to the NBL1 National Final, beating Daniel Johnson’s Forestville Eagles twice and playing the top of the ladder Woodville Warriors twice, getting revenge in the Grand Final by beating them by 30 points!

Starling was named Finals MVP with a 31 point and 18 rebound performance to send his Panthers to the NBL1 National Final. Smith also had a fantastic game with 26 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in the major win.

The South Adelaide Panthers have played phenomenal basketball to get out of the Central conference and now will have to prove that they can stack up against the rest of the country in this national event, starting with the NBL1 West Rockingham Flames
