A rising star in the West, Brook Malone has re-signed with the Perth Redbacks for the 2024 NBL1 season.

The 20-year-old forward averaged 13.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists for the Redbacks last season.

This past season, Malone scored 20+ points over four times with a season-high of 24 points against the Eastern Suns.

Redbacks women’s head coach Tim Rendulic said he’s excited to bring back the young talent for 2024.

“Brooke is certainly someone I’m really excited to work with in 2024,” he said.

“Wing players that are long, athletic, hard running and talented are few and far between locally, and Brooke has all the tools to become a really talented player with a long career ahead of her.

"Her offensive game took some big strides in 2023 which we’ll look to harness further, but it's her evolution at the defensive end and an ability to guard multiple positions that will help take her game to a new level. No doubt Brooke will be one to watch in 2024.”

Malone is the club’s second signing of the offseason, bringing back men’s import Tevin Jackson earlier last week.
