Braves sign Tess Madgen

The Bendigo Braves have announced Tess Madgen as a flagship signing for the 2021 NBL1 South season.

Madgen is no stranger to the Braves line up as she returns to the club after an outstanding 2020 WNBL season where she was one of the best performing guards in all statistical areas, averaging 13.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game for the Melbourne Boomers.

Not only did she perform at the elite level, but Madgen was also one of the fiercest competitors in the league, leading and encouraging her team in important, high-pressure moments on and off the floor.

As an important, key player for Bendigo this coming season, the elite example Madgen brings to the Braves has been built on an impressive basketball resume which includes WNBA and Australian Opals experience, most recently including being part of the national team at the 2018 FIBA World Cup where Australia won a silver medal.
