After an impressive campaign with the Australian Boomers and in the NBA Summer League, NBL1 South star with the Geelong Supercats Jack White will reportedly play with the Denver Nuggets on a two-way contract this coming NBA season according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Denver Nuggets are signing Australian F Jack White to a two-way contract, sources tell ESPN. White had a strong Summer League performance for Denver.
The NBL Champion played four games this season for the Supercats before being called up for the Boomers in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. White then headed straight to Vegas to play for the Nuggets in their Summer League squad.
White played four games throughout the Summer League tournament in Las Vegas, averaging eight points and six rebounds in 16 minutes of action.
The 24-year has reportedly signed a two-way contract, which allows him to play up 50 regular-season games and with the team's G-League affiliate.
Jack White recently spoke about what it would mean to make that NBA leap.
“This is an amazing opportunity for me to take another step towards living out my dream of playing in the NBA, so I couldn’t be more grateful to the Nuggets for giving me a shot,” White said.
In his stint with Geelong, White averaged 20 points, 12.5 rebounds and four assists per game against some of the best NBL1 teams down south.
