Harry Froling's inspirational comeback continues

Two-time NBL1 champion (and one-time QBL champion) Harry Froling has signed with the NBL1 South’s Melbourne Tigers for the 2025 season. 

Froling is returning from an assault, where he suffered a near-fatal head injury.

After a short-term contract in the NZNBL’s Taranaki Steelformers Airs proving he could once again produce, Froling will return to the NBL1 South, last playing for Hobart in 2022. 

“I’m excited to play for the historic club in the Melbourne Tigers, and team up with one of my best mates again in Tom Wilson,” he said.

“Excited to play for the GOAT of Australian basketball (Andrew Gaze) and hopefully go for my fourth NBL1 championship.”
