Magbegor’s Seattle Storm secured the 2020 WNBA Championship with a dominate 92-59 victory over the Las Vegas Aces in game three of the Finals, which completed a 3-0 sweep for Seattle.
"It's incredible," Magbegor said, via The Age.
"A WNBA championship isn't something that comes by often so to have one and to do that with such a great team is special.
"I've taken a lot away. More on-court stuff, reading the game and how much the little details matter and I think I've learned that from Sue (Bird).
"Stewie (Breanna Stewart) is an incredible player and just watching her game, she plays a similar position to me so I feel there is a lot I can learn from her.
"To share a title with them is awesome."
The former Geelong Supercats superstar played seven minutes in game three and she made a strong contribution throughout the season.
The 21-year-old received praise from the WNBA world during her rookie campaign, where she averaged 6.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in the regular season.
Magbegor was named to the NBL1 women’s All-Star Five last season and she starred in the Championship Game, amassing 35 points and six rebounds.
