Hobart Chargers 109 def Geelong Supercats 96
The Hobart Chargers have registered a big win at home, beating the surging Geelong Supercats.
The Chargers opened up a comfortable buffer in the opening term thanks to some lights out shooting from all over the court.
Hobart connected on 20 of its 27 attempts in the opening term, helping the home side to a 38-21 lead at the first break.
Despite Geelong’s best efforts, the visitors simply couldn’t stop the Chargers from scoring the ball, especially on the interior.
While the Supercats tallied a reasonably impressive offensive outing of its own, errors proved costly, gifting Hobart 19 points off turnovers.
Despite being outscored 27-13 in the final term, the Chargers were able to cruise to a comfortable victory in front of its home fans.

Bendigo Braves 87 def Albury-Wodonga Bandits 83
The Bendigo Braves have put an end to its four-game losing streak, beating the Albury-Wodonga Bandits at home.
After a tight opening term, Bendigo took the lead early in the second quarter and held onto it for the remainder of the half.
The Braves leaned on its interior play, relying on strong performances from its bigs such as Matthew Andronicos and Ray Turner, who scored 18 and 17 points respectively.
Coming out of the half-time break, the Bandits worked carefully to gain the upperhand, recapturing the lead for the first time since the first term on the back of strong play from Mitchell Dance (23 points) and Sharif Watson (20 points, 11 rebounds).
Foul trouble caused Bendigo issues as the game reached its conclusion, however bench guard Javaan Mumtaz stepped up for the home side in extended minutes, scoring 22 points and helping the Braves to a one point lead with only seconds remaining.
Hoping for a miracle, Albury-Wodonga sent Bendigo guard Brennan Rymer to the free-throw line in the dying seconds.
After hitting the first shot, Rymer missed the second, only to have his mess cleaned up by Ray Turner, who flew in for the game-sealing tip in.
The loss ends a two-game winning streak for the Bandits.
Ringwood Hawks 74 def by Kilsyth Cobras 78
The Kilsyth Cobras have completed an amazing come-from-behind victory on the road against Ringwood on Friday evening.
The Hawks got out to the perfect start, attacking the rim aggressively against the Cobras to open up a 23-8 lead going into the first break.
Ringwood led by as many as 19 points in the second term before Kilsyth slowly but surely, started to put together its comeback.
Led by Adrian Tomada’s 26 points, the Cobras outscored Ringwood in each of the three remaining quarters, finally taking its first lead after a Mitchell Dielemans layup with three minutes remaining in the fourth.
The Hawks retook the lead quickly, however costly turnovers down the stretch eliminated all hope for the home side.
Trailing by one point with less than a minute remaining, Ringwood star CJ Ascuncion-Byrd committed an offensive foul, his fifth of the contest, before Richardo Martin stepped out of bounds on the Hawks’ final offensive possession to seal the win for Kilsyth.
The win is the sixth of the season for the Cobras.
