Hobart Chargers 69 def by Geelong Supercats 98

The Geelong Supercats have notched its third win in a row, handing the Hobart Chargers its sixth straight loss on the road.
The Supercats pulled away slowly in a competitive first half, highlighted by the play of Sara Blicavs.
The WNBL standout continued her shining run of form since joining Geelong, tallying 21 first half points.
The forward led all scorers with 34 points in 30 minutes.
Trailing by 12 points coming out of the half-time break, Madeleine Garrick did her best to match Blicavs, scoring 28 points and pulling down eight rebounds.
She was assisted by Ellie Collins, who contributed 20 points of her own, however come the final term, the Supercats removed all doubt of the result, outscoring the home side 29-13.
After a rough start to the season, the victory sees Geelong knocking on the door of the top eight.

Bendigo Braves 105 def Albury-Wodonga Bandits 74

The Bendigo Braves have continued its ascent towards the top of the NBL1 South ladder, winning its fourth game in a row, this time at home against Albury-Wodonga.
The Braves got out to a near-perfect start, opening up a 10-point lead within the first five minutes before Albury-Wodonga got its tires spinning.
The following 15 minutes were played mostly to a stalemate, with Bendigo taking a 14-point lead into the half-time break.
Bandits leader Emma Mahady did her best to lift her side across the first 20 minutes, scoring 21 points.
Unfortunately for the visitors, the game was put to bed in the third term, with Bendigo locking in defensively and holding Albury-Wodonga to just 6 third quarter points.
Led by tremendous performances from Abigail Wehrung (27 points, seven rebounds, five assists), Kate Oliver (24 points, six rebounds, four assists) and Kelly Wilson (nine points, nine rebounds, nine assists), the Braves pulled ahead by 33 going into the final term before cruising towards the 31-point victory.
The Bandits will look to bounce back against the Dandenong Rangers tomorrow.

Ringwood Hawks 72 def Kilsyth Cobras 54

The Ringwood Hawks have secured its second win of Round 11, beating the visiting Kilsyth Cobras.
It was set up to be an important game for both sides from the outset, with Kilsyth sitting one spot ahead of Ringwood on the ladder after each playing eight games.
The Cobras got the best out of a closely contested first half, leading by as many as six points and taking a two-point lead into the first break.
It was more of the same in the second term, with each side trading the lead before the Hawks pulled ahead to close the term.
Defence was the talk of the first half, with neither side able to find a consistent scoring punch inside the paint.
After the main break, Ringwood was able to grow its advantage, leading by nine points going into the final quarter.
The Cobras fought hard, closing the gap to five points thanks in part to some strong play from Lauren Scherf, who finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
Despite Scherf’s efforts, it would ultimately prove to be Ringwood’s night in the end, as the Hawks went on a 13-0 run to close the game and lock in the victory.
Ringwood’s Funda Nakkasoglu led all scorers, tallying 23 points, including a quintet of three-point makes.  
The Hawks will aim for its third win in four days tomorrow against the undefeated Frankston Blues.
