Bendigo Braves 91 def Dandenong Rangers 89
The Bendigo Braves have survived a late flurry from the Dandenong Rangers to secure victory in front of its home fans.
It was a back and forth contest throughout, with neither team able to extend its lead beyond six points.
As the final term progressed, Bendigo looked to its star big Ray Turner, who had been flexing his muscles on the interior all game.
Turner finished with 33 points, including what would ultimately be the game winning basket in the closing seconds.
Those heroics were only necessary because of an unbelievable final minute of action from Dandenong’s Sean Macdonald.
Macdonald led the Rangers in scoring (22 points), with eight of those points coming in the final minute of the contest.
Macdonald had a final opportunity to secure victory for Dandenong, however his game-winning three-point attempt was off line.
The loss leaves the Rangers without a win after three rounds.

Waverley Falcons 76 def Albury Wodonga Bandits 64
The Waverley Falcons have bounced back following its close defeat on Saturday evening, overcoming the Albury Wodonga Bandits at home.
After leading early, the Falcons fell behind as the Bandits pushed hard in search of its first win of the season.
Mitchell Dance led Albury Wodonga in scoring (18 points) and rebounding (14 rebounds), but struggled with efficiency, missing 16 of his 23 attempts and only connecting on one of his eight three point tries.
Despite the struggles, Dance and the Bandits were able to hold onto the lead for each of the first three terms, before the Falcons persistence finally resulted in Waverly pulling in front.
Dealing with foul trouble, Falcons forward Tristan De Zwart Forsyth made the most of his time on the court, tallying 18 points and 11 rebounds in just 23 minutes of action.
That, combined with some stellar team defence in the final term which saw the Bandits only able to score six points, resulted in a W for Waverley.

Sandringham Sabres 61 def by North West Tasmania Thunder 74
The North West Tasmania Thunder have beaten the Sandringham Sabres in convincing fashion, never trailing in the contest.
The Thunder got off to a good start, opening up a 13-point lead to close the first quarter, however had to look towards other members of the team as star big Paul Campbell struggled with foul trouble (2 points, four rebounds in 15 minutes before fouling out).
Bradley Simpson scored his most points in a game so far this year, leading NW Tasmania with 19 points.
On the other side, Sabres guard Kuany Kuany tried his best to get his side back in the game, scoring 21 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, however the Thunder were too much to overcome.

Melbourne Tigers 85 def by Hobart Chargers 108
The Hobart Chargers have pushed past a slow start to run away with a big victory on the road against the Melbourne Tigers.
The Tigers held a slight advantage in the first term, using its shooters to stretch the floor and make life difficult for Hobart.
While Melbourne’s shooting was good, the Chargers’ was better, which saw Hobart take the lead to close the first term and never relinquish it for the remainder of the game.
Six Chargers players scored in double digits, with Jonathan Mines leading the way.
Mines scored 22 points, connecting on six of his 11 three-point attempts.
Hobart used its strength on the glass to complement its shooting, crashing the boards after misses and converting those misses into more opportunities.
The Chargers led by as many as 33 points in the final term, before ultimately securing the 23-point win.
